Memories

In the echoes of time, I seek a solace rare,
How can I get rid of the memory we shared?
A memory etched deep, in the heart's hidden lair,
A tale of us, in the fabric of time, ensnared.
In the silent whispers of the moonlit night,
In the soft rustling of the leaves, in the morning light,
Every corner of the world, every soaring kite,
Holds a fragment of us, in its infinite might.
To forget is to lose, a part of me so true,
Yet to remember is to ache, in shades of blue.
In the labyrinth of thoughts, I continue to pursue,
A path that leads away, from the memory of you.
Yet, the heart yearns, for what once was ours,
In the fleeting moments, beneath the distant stars.
How can I erase, these emotional scars?
How can I silence, these internal memoirs?
Perhaps, it's not about forgetting, but to understand,
To hold the memory close, not let it disband.
For it's a part of my journey, in this vast, endless land,
A chapter of my story, by life's intricate hand.
So, I'll cherish the memory, we once shared,
In the silent echoes, in the moments we cared.
Forgetting is not the answer, to the pain we've bared,
But to remember, to love, and to know that we dared.
