Menstrual Dilemma

Its that week of the month.
No penny on hand, but I can feel it coming
Mommy is never bothered, while daddy's assuming that that's girls issue.
I'm sitting, my hand on the chin
Wondering what's next.
Last week an NGO came through
I only received one and it wasn't even enough.
With lots of complications , since they endured for a longer period of time.
Daniel came to my aide, and that's after making a deal of exchanging sex with the towel.
If the organization never judged me by how tiny I was looking, that made me land on one while others received two,
Possibly had been knowing where to start from.
I didn't love my last experience with Daniel.
Should I go to John?. He's been wanting me for long
Bet he can make my answered prayer.
I don't see any organization coming soon,
And by that fact; even those who received two are already worried of what next!.
I heard one of the girls say, she was off to market
And it only meant she was going for towels.
That's how its done; this sides of the village.
I saw Daniel stack a lot of condoms in his room.
Maybe because they are free and sad that we never used them.
I was privilege to visit Mary last time, she must have shown a reusable pad; I don't literally remember for I was busy admiring her room.
Being a girl is expensive.
With no penny, no mom, no dad
Free HIV/ AIDs medicine , period by the corner.
Maybe this is why we run into pregnancy and early marriages.
Its sad but its a reality that we must live with.
