MESS.

I was a crumbling mess,
Weighed all the stress of my craziness on my shoulders,
I was a broken piece,
Burnt and torn page by page,
Confined in a hollow cage, and
Remained deaf to my own plea.
He saw me in my world,
'A shattering mess',
Saved me from me,
He was an angel in disguise,
Desire for shone in his eyes,
Already I was diving deep into his priceful lies,
He showed me the goodness of life and how to rise,
I showed him the world was enough for us to cry and try.
We became lovestruck, (maybe I was)
Held each other's hand and promised to never let go.
There was hostility in his eyes,
There was reluctance in his words,
He hid his darkened walls from me,
Sadly, goodness could also be bitter,
He passed through every feeble door and became the key holder to my heart, and
Just like that,
This time,
He left me as a 'crumbling' mess.
He lingered for awhile,
But,
A while was nothing to me.
