My mind ponders as I set here in the dark,
A place I gain comfort, where peace is found,
All my thoughts collide in very few moments,
And I do most my thinking while nobodies around,
This world can be crazy as it stimulates our minds,
Leaving behind a clutter of incomplete thought,
But when I just set here in the dark at night,
I get to remember all the things I forgot,
The dark just has a way of setting my mind free,
Without all the sights and sounds of my day,
The brightest in the dark, my personal savior,
Here to help me clear the bad thoughts away,
