Times are way different now
Things are changing for better or for worse
As people laugh around me
I sit and think
Looking around me happy and, sad faces
Different looks and different people
Classes are not what I expected
Time is long, days are longer
Yet years go by faster than you think
People are people
We do what we wanna when we wanna
Have our own team
I see trees of gray,clouds of green
The grass lays on top of me like a blanket
A smooth yet jagged blanket
I see the light in all different colors
As I look down, people play many games
It seems as life itself has disappeared
Yet some things will stay
Skies are brown, water is orange
Animals talk and I can understand them
They don't see me but I can see them
As they gallop through the enchanted forest
I lay on the backs of a majestic horse
Majestic as a rainbow flowing through the skies
Yet speedy like lightning
So soft and jagged
As I step on the soft ground
My paw sinks in deeper
Moving into a new dimension
Where I am gone for good
As I wake up
Thinking about the good times I had
Yet the real world is calling my name
I should go...Until next time
There will be a way to get to the other side
I will find you and I will love you.
