I am cold
Shivering uncontrollably
Black dots zoom across my vision
I can scarcely see red lights blinking frantically
The smell of frozen metal remains
Confusion to my predicament is concerning
My limbs begin to move slowly
Sparks spray causing me to fall
I brace myself with my arms before me
Landing on a cylinder coated in a thin layer of ice
Blurred memories begin to clear
Emotions surge as I realize the error I have made
With my body oriented to its normal state
I frantically wipe away the icey layer
Trepidation overtakes as I fear to see what awaits
A beautiful women lies peacfully within the incasing
Her smile portrays sweet dreams and blissful memories
However, her dark blue skin tells of a horrific reality
She has died while in a deep cryogenic sleep
I miscalculated and now her death is all that remains
My coordinates must have had a fatal mistake
The damage before me confirms such horrific things
I walk defeated to the far window near the mainframe
Looking out I see we are outside the void of space
We must of jumped to far, eventually reaching where creation began
A universe rest, growing constantly before me
Many galaxies provide light to this dying place
Little to no oxygen remains
I sit in guilt looking out at the vast expanse of space
Wishing she was given my chance
Only if she could have witnessed this exquisite sight
I could have died in peace
