Seven, Eight, Nine months until I'm finally a mother
I hope it's a girl more than a boy, that's what I rather
Better yet I jus want him or her to be healthy so it doesn't matter
The time draws nearer to the promised due date
I'm over joyed, anxious and I can hardly wait
To meet him or her for the very first time
I rehearsed everything, what to say, what to do, even my very first line
The day was here today and so was the pain
Breathe in, Breathe out, and your composure you must maintain
I promised at the end you'll be happy with your new lil one
Bringing him or her home to his new dad and mom
But that dream became a horrible nightmare
The once over joyed, anxious and impatient mother was covered in despair
The baby was born in the the stillness of the night
No movement, No breathing, No sign of life
Why isn't he crying? Why am I not hearing him? his mother cried
The doctor held her hand and said I'm sorry your baby died
Electrified through her body by ten thousand shock waves
Her motherly instincts kicked in as her stillborn baby she tried to save
She felt less than a woman because she failed to conceive
A failure in the woman world as that's one goal you must achieve
Amplified crying of newborns in the other neighboring rooms
Made her sad, depress as all her joy and happiness was consumed
I'm sorry world I wasn't able to bring forth child
Especially to you hun I hope after this we can reconcile
I'll try again and this time make you less sad
I promise you this time I'll make you a dad
