I have known fear
Was my companion
Took so much place and space and time
Within my humble stressful life
I have known fear, still I survived
I have known sorrow
Deep in my heart
I lost a loved one from my side
Such painful loss, such a wrong time!
I have known sorrow, still I survived.
I have known pain
My body cried
Distructive, striking, vexing sight
Within the night, wide open eyes
I have known pain, still I survived.
I have known guilt
My mind was lost
My soul'd been taken then as host
By deep regrets, each second more.
I have known guilt, still I survived.
Yet I've known hope
Forever mine.
Walk step by step, passing through life
Whatever comes, deep in my heart
I still know hope. I will survive.
