Mother's day is hard.
Its a lesson in progress.

You cannot see
A daughter wanting your approval and love only to be disappointed.
I know its not your fault as its imbeded into your dna but being a mother was far from great .
When i was hurting i couldnt come to you, for you would say im overreacting .
When i was excited i couldnt come to you, because you ignored it.
When i received praise, you gave me criticsm .
All i want is a mother to love me the way i deserve to be loved.
But your narcissitic personality does not allow that.
Everything you do is superficial.
If someone is no use to you, then you cut them out of your life.
Year after year the same thing happens.
I know you cant change because you dont see a problem.
So maybe i should walk away for good and save myself the heartbreak and disappointment.
But all i want is to have a mom that loves me unconditionally.
