Tick-tock, tick-tock,
Profound heartbeat of the clock.
Synced and interlocked,
Time will not stop.
Can't force back the hand,
No vantage point where one stands.
No lever beckened to apprehend,
That may slow it on command.
One may count it as strange,
While in an invariable state of change.
Consistently the same without exchange,
No one escapes, nor rearrange.
Baring every moment it brings,
Entwined within it's jumbled springs.
Each rhythmatic offering,
Steady as the pendelum swings.
Unique purpose customed designed,
Peticularly engraved in time aligned.
Ocularly envisioned to what is assigned,
Clutching gears that can't be rewind.
