P

momma getting me ready

It was a normal day. You always wake me up with breakfast in a special way.
So you tell me to get dress for school. But I didn't want to cause I was still sleepy and cruel. So you sit me down so I wouldn't nag. At the same time you checking the homework in my school bag.
Now I'm at the bus stop waving bye. Not knowing I would miss you saying why. Ive been in school for two hours. But my aunts check me out with news that was too sour.
You stayed in the hospital for a week. The whole time the pain you feeling got you crying in your sleep.
That morning I always had doubts. But in your bedroom you had your last will and papers laid out.
You knew in your mind you had a calling. Still a many nights I'm on my knees crying and holling. So many things I needed to learn. Now life have me on a different turn.
When I'm around women I get nervous what a burn. I needed my mama to know about women so I can learn.
