Later on that night, Chris's buddy from the team broke inside the car. He did what Kathy informed him to do, which is to examine the car first for an alarm, and it do not have an alarm system installed. Chris's friend lightly popped open the trunk, and it is filled with a lot of garbage bags. Chris was going through them, and it took him awhile to find what he needed. He ended up finding a rope and a hammer that was hidden under the bags. "Gotcha you nut case," he said to himself. He is definitely giving the missing evidence to Mala so she can show to the detective.
