Trenti's heart has torn apart like a bomb. He has lost his dream girl, he lost everything. He is not the lucky guy anymore.
The next day when he shows up to his Math class, he changes his seat. He sits in the middle row, and he is never sitting in the front any more in that class because of Staci.
After class, Trenti walks pass Staci, and she sees him and touches him on his shoulders.
"Sorry about yesterday Trenti but..." Getting cut off.
"We need to talk," he said.
"I can't right now, and I can't go to lunch with you today. Patrick is meeting me at lunch, I'm showing him what I need help with, but you can come over to my house tomorrow and we could go to that Chop Suey place again, but meet me at my place," she said.
Trenti sees Patrick walking their way, and he placed his arms around Staci and he winks at Trenti. His wink was giving Trenti a sign saying, "it's my chance now freak, Staci is all mines, and you can't have her you foreign freak. A guy like you is completely out of her league, I look better than you freak."
After they walked off, Trenti did not have the courage to go into the cafeteria nor eat lunch. So he just bought him a Coka Cola can from the venting machine, and went into the boy's locker room where there is peace and quiet. He sat on the floor. He sure can not wait until he sees her again tomorrow. They have a lot to discuss.
