After gym class, Rob touches Trenti on the shoulders. "Hey man."
Trenti thinks something is about to happen.
"Hi," Trenti said.
"Can we meet outside after school?" He asked.
"Why? After what your boy Fredrick did to me?" Trenti said feeling nervous and uncertain.
"It's just something I heard you telling others that you need a gig?" He asked.
"What's that have to do with you and the others bullying me?" Trenti said feeling very uncomfortable.
"Look... I'm sorry about that... I will talk to my boys about that. But if you really want a gig, meet me after school by the lot, I think I could help you with that," he said.
"A gig meaning as job right?"
"Yeah," he said walking off.
Trenti can not believe what Rob just said. The guy who lets his friends bully him has offered him a job. He is eager to find out what it is. This is a dream come true for Trenti, and now he may has a chance to get that necklace for Staci.
