Trenti can not show up to school if he sees Staci and Patrick together. He could not take the feeling of seeing them. He has no one to turn to now. He is starting to feel depressed and lonely. The only person that pops up in his mine who he can express himself to and would understand is Chris.
When Chris got to school the next day, he asked him could they meet after school because he wants to talk to him about something.
Trenti and Chris meets up when school ended.
"So what is it you wanted to talk to me about?" Chris asked.
"It's about Staci," he said.
"You finally woke up huh?" Chris asked smiling.
"Yeah I woke up yesturday," he said being sarcastic.
"Haha, so what's up?" Chris asked.
Trenti tells Chris everything about Staci while walking by the school.
"But that's not all that happened, I had to save up some money just to get her that 300 dollar necklace, so Rob got me a weekly job..." He explained getting interrupted.
"Rob? You say Rob got you a job like that? Out of the blue?" Chris asked.
"Yeah, and he wanted me to take care of his old buddy from childhood who was his escape from his abusive father. So there is more, and my life has been like hell for some weeks, but I'm so afraid to tell someone about it," he explained.
"You can tell me, I'm a great listener," Chris said.
"God I'm so nervous," he said.
"Trenti, you can trust me, I wouldn't be with Mala if I didn't trust her or accept her, so whatever it is or how bad it is, I will support you man," Chris said caring.
"Thanks Chris, well..." Trenti said almost finishing his sentenced.
"Let's sit over there at the school park bench," Chris said pointing at the bench.
"The guy I took care of was an 80 year old man, I stole money from him to save up to get that necklace for Staci because the money I was working with didn't cover much," he explained.
"Wow," Chris said.
"Oh it gets much worse Chris, so the next day I go over there to work, and I find him dead..." He said.
"What? Dead?" Chris asked shocked.
"Yeah, and Rob was standing there by the closet door," he said.
"What? So he was the first to find Mr. Baker dead?" He asked.
"Yeah, and he told me the reason why the old man Mr. Baker died is because he had an heart attack when he saw his money was missing from his wallet, so Rob said that makes me guilty of killing him having an heart attack and going to the police wouldn't help so we covered him up with garbage bags and we buried him in the school's basement," he explained
"WHAT? WHAT THE HELL YOU JUST SAY?" Chris shouted in anger.
"Please don't get upset Chris," he said.
"I'm sorry," Chris said.
"The school's basement is where we buried him," he said.
"Oh geez Trenti, I'm sorry man," Chris said.
"My life is ruined Chris," he said looking downward.
"So let me get this straight. This Mr. Baker guy is dead, and the cops came right?" Chris asked.
"I don't know, Rob must of had a way to not let them come to that house," he said.
"But how are you sure Mr. Baker died of an heart? Maybe Rob planned this whole thing,"
"What do you mean?" He as
"Maybe this was Rob's plan all along, and he saw you take the money," Chris said.
