Martia still do not want to be honest with her parents, and it is strange for Martia to just come home everyday and sit and stare out of the window in her room without getting her school work done. She is slacking on her class assignments, and she has been unfocused for days. Her teachers are going to give her parents a call soon.
The next day the Agarwals had gotten a call from the school regarding Martia, and they go up to the school to see what is going on with Martia. The principal informed them that Martia is not doing well in her classes now, and she has missed a lot of assignments for several weeks.
"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL US YOU WERE BEHIND IN YOUR SCHOOL WORK MARTIA? WHAT IS GOING ON WITH YOU?" Khara shouted, while leaving out of the school building.
"Nothing, things just got hard mommy," Martia lied.
"HARD? YOU HAD MARA AND MALA YOU COULD OF WENT TO FOR HELP, BUT YOU KEPT THIS AWAY FROM US. YOU HAVE BEEN SO DISTANT FROM US LATELY," Khara said, stopping near there car.
"I'm sorry mommy," she said.
"This is not like you Martia, what is happening to you?" She asked.
"Nothing mommy, I will get back on track with things, I promise," Martia said.
"You're grounded for a month on top of that young lady," she said.
Martia did not care rather she gets grounded or not. At this point, she does not care about anything anymore, not even life for that matter. She has made up her mind that she is definitely not telling her parents what is really going on with her and not even the reason why she has been missing a lot of school work.
