Mommy, Take Me Back Home! 2 Part 9

"Oh I forgot to inform you about something else in my culture," they both leaves the restaurant and walks to his motorcycle.
"Spare me all the info babe," he said.
"I forgot to mention in India, almost all the Gods, and Goddess have a vehicle, that is, one which they traveled on. And in the same way Lord Ganesha's vehicle was a mouse," she informs.
"A mouse? What are you saying? A real mouse?" He asked.
"Yes, and and this mouse which sits on Lord Ganesha's feet is called Mooshak, and here's the story of how mooshak became Lord Ganesha's 'vahaan' (vehicle), as we call it.
According to myth, it is believed that a demon by the name of Mooshikasura was wreaking havoc in the world and the gods had sent Lord Ganesha to fight him. Even before Lord Ganesha attacked the demon, he went down on his knees and prayed to the Lord for forgiveness. That's the other part I left out," she informs.
"Cool, nice facts, but kind of creepy with the mouse thing," he said.
"In my daddy's car, there we have the Ganesha statue place in the front for our protection when we get inside the truck. Ganesha will protect you forever only if you believe in him," she said.
