When Mala gets home, she is eager to ask her father about the bible Chris wanted. Mala is shocked and happy that he was inclined to join their religion. When she see her father coming out of the bathroom, she swiftly grabs his hands. "Daddy, can I ask you something?" She asked.
"Yes dear," he said.
"Are there any bibles at your job?" She asked.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"I have a friend who wants to join our religion and wants to learn about our God Ganesha, but I already told my friend all about Ganesha's story... She just needs a valuable bible with big printed words," carefully choosing her words.
"Well that is so great to hear an American wants to serve our Lord Ganesha. Hmmm... I can see what I can find, but this will cost your friend," he said.
"How much?" She asked.
"I have to check the price when I go to work tonight, and I will let you know tomorrow evening," he said.
"Okay."
