When Chris saw Mala down the hallway, he frozed and got agitated. Ed was trying to force Chris to ask Mala out but he was not sure she felt the same about him even though when they first met she gave him the impression and the expression that she was interested. He is not actually sure if she really wants to be with him or not. When Chris was about to ease his way down the hall where her and her siblings was.
That is when he saw Mala snapped for some reason. He saw her having a fit about a card in her locker, but he could not make any sense of it. He had watched her shout and that was a side he did not expect in her.
"Dude, she is going insane, are you sure you want to be with that?" Ed asked.
"I don't know what's going on," Chris said.
When Chris saw Mala hollering across the hall, he gave up on his luck of asking her out.
"Maybe next time," Chris said, turning around and heading to his locker and went home.
