When someone in the car said her name, she stops. "Who is that?" She asked, looking inside.
"It's me Mala, Kathy," Kathy confirms.
"Kathy? I just seen you at the party, were you following me?" Mala asked.
"Yeah that was like an hour ago, the party is over now, it's 2:01," Kathy explains.
"Holy shit, my parents are going to kill me," she said.
"Do you need a ride back home? Hold it, where's Chris?" She asked.
"He's in Frank's Cabin, he took me there after the party," Kathy asked.
"Ooooh, and I thought you were going home, OH MY GOD, TELL ME ALL ABOUT IT, HOP IN THE CAR WITH US AND TELL ME ALL ABOUT IT," she said, excitedly.
Mala notices Jake and the others are sleep while getting into the car.
"They all are hung over," Kathy said.
"What you mean by hung over?" She asked.
"Meaning that they are drunk," Kathy said.
"They had beer at the party?" She asked.
"Yeah girl, it was in the punches," Kathy said.
"Thank God I didn't touch my punch when Chris made it. Wait a minute... Punch... So that's why he was forcing me to drink the punch so I could get drunk and forget what..." She said thinking, while coming to a pause in her speech.
"Forget what?" Kathy asked.
"Never mind, it isn't important," she said.
"Soo, tell me, how was it?" She asked, while driving off.
"How was what?" She asked.
"You know, did he pop the cherry yet?" Kathy asked.
"What's popping the cherry means?" She asked, naively.
"Meaning did you give in losing your virginity?" Kathy asked.
"Oh nooo, I told him I couldn't," she said.
"Why not? He is the hottest guy in school, all the girls wants him, so why Mala? Why didn't you lose your virginity?" Kathy asked.
"I'm not like most teenagers, I'm still a kid, and I'm supposed to be faithful to my native values," she informs.
"But this is America, you can do whatever you want here," Kathy said.
"I know we can, but it's just my decision, I couldn't and you wanna know something else?" She asked.
"What?" Kathy asked, curiously.
"If I tell you, I don't want you telling anyone else," she said, firmly.
"My fingers are crossed," Kathy said.
"Is they really sleep back there," she said, pointing her finger to the back.
"Oh they are dead sleep for awhile," Kathy said.
"So when I told Chris I couldn't, I really had to keep explaining why and why I couldn't give it up to him, I mean I literally had to keep explaining myself," she informs.
"Huh huhn," Kathy said, waiting for more information to get through.
"So, when I explained to him that I couldn't because of my cultural values, he starts to almost rape me," she informs.
"HE DID WHAT?" Kathy asked, being shocked.
"He tried to rape me, but I stopped him," she said.
"Oh my God, are you alright?" Kathy asked, caring.
"Yeah I'm okay now," she said.
"That doesn't sound like Chris, he is not just a popular guy I knew, he's a nice and focus person, but that still doesn't excuse for what he tried to do," Kathy said.
"But the worst thing about it Kath, is that I still love him, I hate him, but I still love him at the same time," she said.
"It's okay to still have feelings for him, but I'm so glad he didn't actually rape you, but I know he has a heart inside to forgive what he has did," Kathy said, reassuring her.
