"What were you saying about seeing someone?" Mala asked Mara while they are close to their rooms.
"You know Mala, after we had that prayer, God has given me the wisdom to just wait on that discussion after our presentation is fulfilled, we must focus on our practice for our speech," Mara said.
"Yeah I think you're right, time is what we need, and our focus should just be on getting an A on our speech presentation," she said.
Two weeks passes, and presentation day is now beginning Monday. Kathy, Mara and Mala has done so much hard work of preparation and done so much research on their topic discussions.
When classes has started, Kathy, Mala, and Mara's speech is last. Kathy and the two uses a projector to display PowerPoint images.

"Good Morning Wonderful Disney Fans. Welcome to the 8th annual D23 Convention! I hope you guys are having a wonderful night. Before we let you amazing people continue your night, we want to thank you for coming and especially thank Disney for their amazing work and the influence they gave us throughout our childhood. Their work still continues to amaze us up to this day. We all know that Disney has created many shows and, most importantly, movies. These movies have impacted us in many ways. They’ve made us happy, they’ve made us laugh, and they’ve most definitely made us dream. Today, my colleagues will talk about how these films taught us to dream, women’s empowerment, and diverse cultures through the movies Zootopia, Mulan, and The Proud Family Movie," Kathy lectures and gives an introduction to their topics.

"Good morning. Like many of you and many of my peers up here, Disney has been a big part of my life growing up. Even now I am still influenced by the animated movies that Disney has been releasing. But to me one movie stands out, and that’s Zootopia. While this movie is about bipedal animals and how they live in their world, it discusses many of the real world problems we have today. But in Zootopia, they all come back to the same topic: that you can be anything that you want to be and the prejudices about you or your species don’t define who you are. This is true throughout the movie as the main heroes struggle to break free from their own prejudices and chase their dream of becoming something better. In the case of Judy Hopps, she is a small town bunny raised on a farm whose dream is to become the first bunny police officer in a big city. On the way she shows how she can stand with even the toughest of animals and even befriend her species’ natural predator, a fox. And this is what is great about Disney. No matter how old you are, these movies give out meaningful messages that can help us better ourselves."

"Hello everyone! Mara has made some great points and I’d like to pick up where she left off. Many of us have been told that we have limits of who and what we can become; whether it’s based on our gender, age, or race. One of the most influential films to break these barriers is, Mulan. This film touches all bases and has given children hope and aspiration to become who they want. Thank you Disney for teaching us some of life’s finer lessons!
Women have and still continue to be undermined in society and we are constantly being put into our gender roles. In Mulan, she proves not only her family and friends wrong, but also her entire nation. She has defied the rules of society, has shown girls growing up to fight for what they believe in, and to never take no for an answer. In this film, Mulan, a woman and only child in her family chooses to take her elderly and crippled father’s place when he is called to war. She secretly disguises herself as a man and sets off to fight for her country in honor of her family.
Once more Disney has showed us to follow our hearts and dreams.

Kathy - The Proud Family Movie
"The proud family movie was one of the first show based on the black community around that time. The movie and show central theme was focused on a black cast, and the emphasis on the show promoted diversity and jokes we all can laugh at.The Proud family came out in the era of That’s So Raven, Lizzie McGuire and Even Stevens. The proud family of what we watched and remembered back then in our childhood and from today, is a production of value and cultural significance emphasis. The show is culturally significant because many other animated shows that came out around that time did not feature a predominantly black cast.

"As my colleagues have shared, Disney films have played an impactful role on many of our lives. The messages and themes of these movies are ones that are meaningful throughout our lives. Whether it's the importance of diversity as Kathy explained with shows such as The Proud Family or That's So Raven, Mulan's bravery to step up and defy the stereotypes of women that Mara told us, or messages as important as being yourself no matter what the norm is as myself shared with you all through Zootopia, there have been a countless number of classic films to help us all grow as people and as teenagers for that we must give a round of applause for Disney. Thank you, and Good Night," Mala said, finishing up.
