Mala's phone kept buzzing after school and it is Chris that keeps calling her. She did not answer his phone calls at all, she just waited until after midnight to call him back in the study room to inform him to stop.
"Chris, what do you want?" She asked, getting irritated.
"I want you," he said.
"I told you to leave me alone," Mala said.
"I'm trying Mala, I'm trying, but I can't stop thinking about you. I love you to death and I can't help it," he said.
He was mostly doing all the conversing while Mala just listens but she really was not listening to Chris. A thought just came to her while he is still talking.
"Chris," she said, cutting him off.
"Yeah," he said.
"I have to tell you something," she said.
"What?" He asked.
"I'm planning to see a counselor soon," she informs.
"A counselor? why? You not crazy," he said.
Mala thought about what Mara said to always be honest even when something that is so much of a shock occurs. Mala begin explaining to Chris the reason why she needs to go see a counselor, and informing him how she feels threatened when she's around him. She did not leave one detail out.
"You fear me? How? I'm not the boogeyman," he said.
"I'm serious Chris, I really need this," she said.
"I need help," she said.
"I'm sorry," he said.
"And to be honest with you Chris, I think you need some help too," she said.
"WHAT? No, I don't need help," he said.
"Yeah I think so Chris," she said.
"Why do you think I need help?" He asked, curiously.
"I think you're obsessed with me," she said.
"Aww come on, most guys gets a little obsessive with the girl they real crazy about," he said.
"You know Chris, I still love you, and I don't care what no one says, I'm not hiding the fact how I feel about you, and no one can't take my feelings away," she confirms.
"That means a lot babe, I love you even more," he said.
"Although what you did to me will never leave me because I'm still hurt because of that," she explains.
"I know, and I'm sorry Mala, I don't know what came over me that night," he said.
"I was thinking me and you could go to counseling together," she suggested.
"Really?" He asked.
"Yeah," she said.
"I don't know. Well I'm willing to do it for the sake of us, because I love you," he said.
"I love you too," she said.
"So will I see you tomorrow?" He asked.
"Yeah but no physical contact," he said.
"I won't bite Mala," he said.
"I don't know, we will see," she said.
"Okay, bye," he said.
"Bye bye," she said.
