Early morning I hear the birds chirping
The sound is just like beautiful singing
A cigarette to start this cool morning
And a coffee that will get me soaring
Some herbal greenery would be good
It won't be long before I'm in the mood
A nice wonderful day to start the week
But to some, Mondays are awfully bleak
Cheers to this day whether good or bad
And a cheer up to those that are sad
