Ten to six in the morning
A bit chilly to the start
A dog is barking in the dark
A goose honks out its part
Vehicles driving past quickly
The traffic lights are bright
Green , red and amber show
Always look to see the light
Rabbit tracks through the snow
A few of them live nearby
Many come during the night
To forage for greens they find

Ten to eight am it is now
It feels warmer outside
The traffic has increased
Many people in cars go by
A typical beginning I suppose
Rabbits , traffic and the cold
Just another monday morning
