Welcome to this monochrome world
Which makes me horribly irked!
Why is it like this? Why was it me?
"Please, don't go!" I plea
Tell me, if there is a God, why didn't he protect the ones whom I adore?
If there is a God, then why were were so many wars?
Life isn't fair, life just isn't fair!
I've done everything right, I've given a care!
But now everything is monochrome and dull
Well, now, there can't be a thrill
How come I continue to suffer, while the sweet ones perish?
What sick trick is this? How nightmarish!
I wail and predominantly sob
Then I think about ending it all
But sacrifices would be in vain
And I'd be failing everyone, drowning in this rain
I'm being tormented, but I bravely bear it
I miss you, I really miss you, and I want to quit
And yet, I keep walking, creating sunshine
In this cloudy monochrome world that is now mine
Maybe it was me who wasn't being fair
Now, it is sunny, and there is a rainbow, now I care
