Early monsoon when we first met
That rainy day I shall not forget
And through the darkness you kept me awake
Laughing and talking , love at stake.
Days passed by
Love got me high
Without you I couldn't stand
Nor feel the warmth beneath my hand...
One fine night
It all seemed right
You opened your heart
And I opened mine...
You spoke words of comfort
The ones I fell for ,when I was hurt...
Love had blossomed once again
For monsoon showers bring gentle men
But that's not all
Life gave me a fall
To realize my mistake
My poor heart ached
In the end it dawned upon me
That your kindness was an endless sea
Free for all I received it too
Buckled my sorrow in a tiny shoe
While you gave your heart away
To the one who was meant to stay
I watched my little castle
Tumbling down in shambles......
With a broken heart and a wounded soul
I can surely say
Life will never be the same
Monsoon played my game!
