Running; till I can't,
Breathing; beginning to pant,
Crying; wishing I didn't,
Lying; away and hidden.
No! it found me!
It'll take my heart,
And break it apart,
Rip it to shreds,
Make me wish I was dead!
R.I.P the old me,
I tried to run from destiny,
But my old heart died,
When the monster destroyed my pride.
Love found me when I ran,
She wouldn't let me go,
All the dark I had,
She simply broke.
She let the light shine,
Into this cracked heart,
Into this soul of mine,
She broke the dark apart.
I'll never deserve her love,
I'm a simple man,
And she's an angel from above,
Always ready to hold my hand.
