When I was a kid I used to think that monsters lived under my bed
Till I grew up and found out we make our own monsters in our head
Thinking it's a life of laughing and alot of partying and drinking
Nevertheless your life is in a dark world and your ship is sinking
Started out as a weekend thing with your friends
Slowly losing everything in your house that addiction is where it spends
Selling everything you can get ahold of even started selling your own flesh
Ripping your innocence like a pack of animals, your pain is still fresh
Street lights lit two faced mask, some with a face of a angel yours have wide eyes
Whatever is left in the bruised and battered body slowly dies
Thinking back to a kid wish you could deal with monster under your bed
But you made your own monster in your head and will be there till your death bed
