There's so many monsters within the world.
The biggest ones are the ones that live within us.
How I wish this monster within me would just stay buried,
Didn't have to look for long at it every time I looked into the mirror.
Those eyes, staring back so empty with no hope, no life, no love...
Very sad it was all lost deep within my soul.
Nothing was seen as I looked within my eyes, just a glimpse of this in the shadows a meek little me;
Begging for mercy,
Pleading for an act of kindness,
This monster will show her no mercy,
Show must grow, strong
To give this monster what it needs,
Love, mercy, and kindness.
Grow, strong my little light.
Show your monster you are strong,
Defeat yourself and be strong together.
