Moonlight on The Broken Tomb

Moonlight on The Broken Tomb
I stare into the moon’s pale, weeping face—
My eyes tear through the graves of old embrace,
Where you haunt every inch of endless night,
My heart a coffin clamped shut, screaming to take flight.

Loneliness wraps tight—our only bed and bread—
Time hisses low: “Bring back the love you’ve shed!”
The wind wails hot, to drag me to your side,
Dreams claw and beg to keep our broken ties alive.

The moonlight cuts like glass through bone and stone—
Yet I can’t step where ghosts of us have grown
Into the earth I loved you in so deep—
Better to be free than love what’s cold and breathing, and makes me weep...✨🌘 01082026 ©LanZhan
