Under the moonlight
Drawn by clouds over the horizon
I stand on the unlightened porch
Waiting for the night to pass by quickly.
I looked up the glimmering sky
It's a full moon on a breezy night
As always, the moon is there
Shining in the darkness of the night.
It gives comfort to those who weep
It offers solace to those in grief
It brings delight to moon lit dinners
It holds the secrets and pain of the night.
