Morning Jitters

Morning Jitters

Daydreaming about when I grew up in childhood. When you to young for school as a child so you do things that excited you.

Like the first  time slipping down the surface of the slide.  As your legs glistened on the slide’s reducing your kinetic energy.

Your first feel of weightlessness when you reach the peck on a swing. The part where you hit your apex. Then your weightlessness ends and you start to swing back down.

When you were sorting rocks into sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic. How that struck hormonic rhythm for your nervous system and give you that feeling you never forget.

School sounded like a good idea. School was in a square steps that ended in the workforce you slowly stepped up and then slide ahead.

You ponder thinking you were trying to forge yourself into a ruthenium But you come out mostly as iron for the labour and aluminum for the desk jobs.

A few nuggets of gold and silver fall off in your assembly line of life and land in the wellbeing and luxury of your family.

And you look down as a reaction of your burning toe and realize you have no idea how long you were lost in thought before you finished pouring your morning coffee.  🙃
