Looking back at all past wars
We've been in most every one
Fathers lost a daughter
Mothers lost a son,
From World 1 to date
No nation has been untouched
Is dying from an unnecessary fate
The political leaders brains are touched,
Step upon this nations soil
A bullet thee shall eat
Your mission we will foil
Your bodies to the worms a treat,
So many soldiers have been lost
Pray they didn't die in vain
How precious was the cost
Will at peace will we ever remain,
Foolish leaders have allowed
Our sworn enemies in
If our land is never hollowed
Will we be at another war again?
