But I call you mom
For nine months you carried me
Nursed and took care of me
Even though mama you left
To go live your life the way you want
Young you were
Never enjoyed your youth
Became a mom at thirteen
I thank you for you didn't abort me
You accepted me and brought
Me into this world
Full of love
I know you left because of peer pressure
It happens mom
It happened
I no longer hold any grudge
I no longer hate you
Well I never did
Mama we went through hell
Suffered in the hands of dad's second wife
I know you know everything
And I know you regret
You wish you never failed us
You wished you raised your little girls
You wish you were there for us
You wish you never left
But mama wishes are not horses
And if we could go back in time
We would make things right
But we can't
So let's be grateful
God gave us this chance
Let's use it well
I love you mama
Never feel bad about the past
Its in the past
And we all learned from it
I'm glad you realized your mistakes
And made things right
I'm glad you are here now
Take care of the little ones
Be the mother you wish you were to us
Protect them
And love them
That alone will make me happy
