I have left a scar on you
I have explored, destroyed, and abandoned you
I am blindfolded by selfishness and worldly desires
Indeed my wants are insatiable.
More and more and more I cut from you
More and more and more I dig from you
More and more and more I waste from you
Oh Mother Earth!
How Ungrateful am I
After confessing my sins
Your gentle breeze still cuddles my skin
Your potable water still quenches my thirst
Your copious food still extinguishes my hunger.
Oh Mother earth!
You are getting weaker and weaker everyday,
My daily activities are disintegrating you,
Floods, Erosions, Droughts and Global-warming are persistent.
A vivid indication of how weak we have turned you into.
Oh Mother Earth!
These are my confessions, forsake me not,
For I solemnly pledge to vehemently take care of you.
Oh Mother Earth! Forsake me not.
