we have
man made
lakes
my island
is home
for these
geese
beautiful birds
when they
cross our streets
we yield
to their
better nature
yet many
rather eat them
New Yorkers
are always in a hurry
and we always hungry
rather
its food
or money
or politics
vs religion
many of these
New Yorkers
like me
we all pollute
one way or another
its our world
we can inherit it
if God sees
who fits
regardless
of religion
your my neighbor
lets heal
