The signs you ignore
right at the beginning
may be the reason -
you leave or regret later
You know right away
who's good and bad for
you.
Their smile -
may be bright in your face
Their words -
may be appealing to your ears
Their moves -
may show transparency
But there's always that colour
that gives the flag away
You will see the signs
You will perceive the burns
It may not be so glaring
But with your eyes all clearing
And your thoughts all steady
You will know, just know
That decision to make
That step to take
When you see the red flag
Take a flight before it is waved
Do not ignore that!
