*MOTHERS PAIN*
She smiled when you sat,
When you took the step to crawl, she was excited,
She was delighted when you tried standing,
When you walked, her joy knew no bounds.
She held you in high esteem
Seeing the potentials you possessed,
Because success was yours to attain,
And failure seemed far from you.
But her joy was short-lived,
When you couldn't live up to expectations,
You couldn't live her dreams of you,
Due to your ignorance.
Your youthful exuberance,
Made her smile disappear,
Now her laughter is gone,
Seeing you're no more.
Her dreams of you never being fulfilled,
And the pain is hers to bear alone,
How would she cope?
As you're no more.
