He thought change would be good
But after second thoughts
He quickly changed his mood
Something that said not to
And all the warning signs
That he shouldn't follow through
Somewhere new was on his mind
A spur of the moment thought
But may end up in a worse bind
A few days to think it out
Different may not be best
Wiser to keep the same route
Unfamiliar surroundings
And new sets of rules
Together had his head pounding
The idea of change seemed right
But a few conversations he had
And the thought give him a fright
For now the choice is to stay
And wait for a better option
The chance will come another day
