- The melody of those old hymns
played wonderfully at the church ⛪
the melody of the orchestra rang out to all who heard.
- The popular tune and rythm of that old choral band
rang throughout the country in that God forsaken land
the people had a shocked look on their face
to hear God's Gospel, to hear His Grace.
- The instrumental band came rolling in to town
they played and played till even they were tired of the sounds.
- Then they went home tired and worn
but one last boy played one last horn
the splendid music that it did play
and boy what the people had to say
on that blessed summer day
as in their beds they all did lay
listening to the horn play just before night 🌙⏰💤💤
in that town after that there there were no more fights
and the ballerinas in their tights
all finished their dance to the Horn's music that splendid summer night
ready no more to have to fight
and that horn what a horn it was a beautiful sight
oh glory to God what a night!
