My 3 Plans
Plan A had the timeline all neat,
Married by 26, house by 28, kids by 30.
Checkboxes, deadlines, Pinterest dreams,
But life said “not today” and tore up the seams. ❌
Plan B came in with sunnies and laughs,
Cool uncle duties, no diapers, just snacks.
Birthday cake, surprise gifts, “don’t tell your mom”,
Financial freedom and the weekend plans. ✅
The kids think I’m magic. The parents think I’m safe.
And me? I’m just vibing in my favorite space.
Plan C is quieter, hands open wide,
_“Thatha lento ayinabungozi”_ — I’ll take what comes, no need to hide. ⏳
No rush, no pressure, just faith and the flow,
God’s got the pen and I’m learning to let go.
So here I am —
Not on schedule, but still on purpose.
Not behind, just on a different verse.
Cool uncle today,
Whatever tomorrow brings, I’m blessed.
