My Child

Don't cry dear daughter you may not see me but I am here
I wish I could wipe away your tears
I whisper sweet nothings when you sleep at night
Im always with you even though I'm not in sight
God called me home because he knew I could take no more pain
I got my wings and an angel he gained
With every passing day is one day closer we will be together again soon
Its okay to be sad as you stare at the moon
God didn't mean to hurt you when he called me home
I know you feel lost without me and aimlessly roam
Just know I'm right beside you my child every moment of the day
I will never leave your side in any way
You took such wonderful care of me I couldn't ask for a better nurse as you
You made the best out of everything for me too
Holding my hand and being by my side meant a lot
Even through my darkest moments when I fought
I fought my hardest to try and hang on as long as I could
So please my child don't lose your faith and keep praying to God like you should
So with all this being said I hope I eased your mind just a little bit
I'm with you always my child quietly I sit
