When she is in her bedroom and scared at night;
I come in to let her know that everything is alright.
I give her strength to carry on,
even when all hope seemed to be gone.
I am also her friend to help her in good and bad times.
I am always her pillar
When she knows she'd fall,
I am her anchor,so strong and tall.
I taught her to show no fear,
to always have fun,
and face the day with cheer.
A girl's very future
is shaped by the way
her father shows her
