the hours to little to few

side dishes, little treats
decrative embralas in the drinks
trying not to over think
what conversations will we have
don't want to talk about mom and dad
or about the hard times we had
let's be more uplifting than that
don't want to talk about the bills
or dying or wills
let's speak of life's thrills

well she's just, 23
now you may say to young for me
cause's a lot of anxiety
but i dig her intellegency
old timers say, they'll keep you young
either play or be done
either way she is fun
and im glad to be the one
because everything, here on this planet
is so beautiful I can not stand it

with just this dinner, and a movie
