My Dear Uncle

The calmness of the dusk passed on to be dreadful,
As the news of your sudden demise heard through the phone.
How should I believe you were so bashful?
To let us know that you will be gone.
Writing a word about you makes my hands shiver,
Flashing the memories you created breaks my heart,
The pain of losing you will remain forever
Like a museum full of dearest shattered art.
You, a son among seven
Promised to visit your anticipating mother,
She did not expect you to leave for heaven
And that unfulfilled promise breaks her heart further.
The fearless father of four rest in the peace,
A silent heart of mine mourns the loss of the deceased
