3am i was still awake,
Lost in my thoughts,
Caught in my own world,
Gazing into the darkness,
My demons they spoke.
I saw comfort, i saw peace of mind,
Chaos is all that i know,
My body numb to the pain,
my heart frozen solid,
Escaping reality is all i have left.
My wrists they bleed,
I just sit and stare,
My body is numb to the pain,
My demons keep me company,
Monster run around saying,
Hello, hi, good morning and good bye,
There of the human kind,
Within there hands,
A knife waiting to go straight in your heart.
My demons they don't hurt me,
They show me I'm strong,
My demons bring me peace,
They don't scare me like the human one's.
