My dog Bear

I had this pet over twenty years ago

He was a dog that I named Bear

It was my aunt's idea to call him that

A dog that is like him is highly rare

He was calm and gentle most times

But if you raised your voice to yell

He would run toward you and bark

Saying stop that right now or else

My dog

Simply was the best

My only true friend

Better than the rest

He had a frisbee that he really liked

And numerous tennis balls all over

He had a tiny box of bones he kept

I was very proud of him as his owner

He had silent barks when it was night

His mouth would move but no sound

He could shake a paw with both sides

He was an amazing pet , a great hound

My dog

Simply was the best

My only true friend

Better than the rest

I miss him dearly and have never stopped

To this day I have never replaced him

A dog that was so unique and wonderful

The day I lost him my world turned grim

I know he's up in doggy heaven having fun

Chasing balls and frisbees until he's content

As many treats and biscuits as he can handle

If he were human he would have been a gent
