My Father
Growing up I saw my father as the man. Same way as seeing a celebrity and you are there fan. I thought he could do no wrong. He seem so masculine and strong. I Iooked up to him as the positive male figure to be around. He always seemed to cheer me up when I was down. My father was the man I thought I wanted to be. This all changed when he would make me promises and when I asked him later about them, he would say. "he will see". As I became older and realized what my father was about, I begin to regret him as my father and having doubt. He was always in and out of my life. This caused me to become anger and filled with strife. The man I once saw him as was all fake. And this type of pain and hurt I couldn't take. In my past because of this I looked up to other guys to find my identity. I thought that this type of mindset would be good until infinity. My mindset changed as I went through life lessons. Out of these lessons brought me mental strength and blessings. I understand my father didn't know how to be a man. And he only did what he can. This experience allowed me to learn what not to do as a father. And give all the time and effort to my daughter even harder. Take away don't blame your parents for what they do. They only going by in away on how they were raised and they just never knew.
