My Father My Treasure

My Father My Treasure
In halls of home, where love should reside,
A silence falls, where hearts have died.
Unseen, unheard, I wander alone,
A ghost in flesh, without a home.

Faces pass, with vacant eyes,
No warmth, no love, no surprise.
But one face shines, a gentle soul,
My father's love, my heart's goal.

In his eyes, I find a home,
A refuge from the emptiness I've known.
A place to hide, a place to rest,
Where love remains, and I'm blessed.

In this cold space, I try to stand,
But roots of love are hard to find.
Yet with my dad, I'm not alone,
His love guides me, through life's unknown.
