I hold these feelings all inside my heart,
Hoping the world never tears it apart.
I never felt so blessed,
I confess,
But watching you over there, scares me to death.
Knowing this could be your last breath.
In this world today, everyone is lost,
Someday, lives will pay a cost.
Every year it seems there is a new virus to beware of.
Aren't we judged, enough..
Life is a sacred thing,
Until next year, we will see what brings..
We don't know what will happen or what to watch for,
All we know is that we have been down that road before.
We pray that everything will be okay,
We pray for our freedom and that all the viruses are gone away.
We pray that the sick get better and that the economy sticks together.
We pray for forever....
